WELSHPUG
are they in good nick with tyres?
Sloppy
there vary nicks, but she want fooking £300 a set and the tyres will all be old and part worn so i said she can keep em for that, my best offer would have been £200 ish with no tyres but she was not keen to haggle best she would do was £20 off for the scabby set as i was refurbing em anyway.

so if you want a set ecosse have 2 sets she said....(an employee of ecosee)

think im off for some of the 17" 307 wheels for that price and the look better!

ha ah for £300 i was thinking i could stick a gti6 engine and box in laugh.gif

lol yeah they have a few, theres a set sitting on an engineless polish t16 in the corner of their yard, was going to ask how much they wanted for them a while back but didnt bother as i knew they'd want more than i could afford! i know a guy who used to work there will ask him about them next time i see them, maybe they do an ex-emplyee discount tongue.gif

don't know what's with all the obscene adjectives here?! blink.gif

they are worth what they are worth and if you want them - you'll have to pay that.

as said they are not worth that to me so i offered the information and prices where people can buy them from if there interested, thought that was quite helpfull of me mellow.gif

tbh if i was feeling flush id probably pay £200-£300 for them, just not at this moment in time...
Sloppy
ive been looking on european pages price seem to be around £250, thats what i was origionally quoted off them but then she said from?

so i was like i want the from set then but i was fighting a losing battle laugh.gif

gonna look out for some 17 inchers i think had a pic somewhere of a white one with them on but i canny find it?

got some trusty onld xsi/s16/lemans wheels i scraped together for £40 so gonna use them for now smile.gif
KRISKARRERA
When I bought my T16 wheels in 2001 I paid £250 which I thought was alot but I badly wanted them. But yes if I could have the 17 inch 206/307 alloys for the same price I might be tempted by the latter.
Sloppy

just found them for a bargain price, well much less that £300!

hopefull i can get me hands on them biggrin.gif

you still got em?

I tried Nimrods on my 405 and they looked very good, shame the tyres were shot or they would have stayed there instead of going on the goodwood.
KRISKARRERA
Nah, this was when I knew hardly anything about Pugs and I assumed they were the same offset as Mi16 alloys and thought they wouldn't fit the 309 Mi16 I was killing my old 405 for. Plus I got put off by the difference in the price of tyres compared to 15" wheels. I sold them to Miles.
Sloppy
yea i think nimrods look cool to on a 405 but the 17" also look quite nice, tyres will be £50 a pop though for proxies but its not gonna do many miles so 17 it is. + 405's are a fairl big car so can pull off 17's well i think.
