Sounds like it is the battery then... Unless you've got a short to Earth?
I had a amplifier power cable which was broken and the core was touching the engine, and slowly draining the battery... Not got nothing like that have you?

im not sure mate, ill have to do some investigating at the weekened. the thing is ive got that voltage drop to the starter problem, the ignition amp so ive been told on here? i wonder if that could effect it? it does seem to be the battery though because if the car has been sat up for 4/5 days it just hasnt got the power to turn it over enough

Time to get it back on the road me thinks!

I just got a battery from my local motor factors. 3yr guarantee, and about £35 trade price! Its even survived being boiled twice by 2 faulty voltage regulators, and being stored for months without a charge

Yeah, the exhaust is nice!

I think it's a Scorpion, so you might still be able to get them new... Mine was second hand, but it doesn't matter as it is Stainless!

Could anyone tell me what is standard battery for a Ph1 Mi16? At the moment I have a 55Ah put in by the previous owner, I can see that a much larger/stronger battery should be in, cause there is much room left.

When mine died a few years ago I bought a cheap replacement that's only 44ah and it seems to be doing ok.

Mine also worked fine, but I'd like to buy original size/strength this time.
Maybe it's 75ah? Does anyone know?
