Now.....do i risk taking Gerty on track on saturday or shall i play safe and stick with the 2wd?????

Having constant trouble with the gear linkage always coming off,was told to try wrapping some copper twine around it to try make it stay put.

Will be giving her a good clean and taking her regardless so will post piccys when shes all shiny.

Erm well I'll be there but I can't go out on track because I've got a slight cashflow problem that's not helped by needing to buy tax and put the car through the MOT within the next month

My dear wife has plans!

Take a rain check, but I usually manage at least one of those track days during the year along with my son-in-law whose a Golf nut!

My car is currently off road and SORN'd so cant drive it! Nowt wrong with it, well maybe the brakes need a bit of attention but nothing major! Have promised myself it will be back on the road this summer!

I can sympathise, when the missus has made plans it can be very hard to get out of without incurring their wrath for the next zillion years

I should or was going to be! Just have far too much to do this weekend moving cars around, and picking up another new toy!! All the FSC lot are there too!

What a nightmare today was....ive never known a day like today at combe!!!!

I took the track beast out on the 2.15 session...now ive been warned about afternoon sessions as ive nly ever been out in the morning when all track time is allocated to clubs,the afternoon sessions are full of tossers that buy £50 sheds purely to kill on track.In 6 laps 4 cars came off and i saw cars over taking on bends at least 6 times!!!!! I didnt bother doing my last lap as i was fuming that people could get away with driving like that and the marshalls doing nothing!!!

On the next sesion we sat at quarry corner to watch some track action,we saw at least 10 passengers with hand held cams,one twat had his window down and was waving to everyone right on the bend...,people drifting and showing off.the list goes on...and what were the marshalls doing....eating their bloody sandwiches!!!!!


Today could of seriously put me off track for life!!!

not good to hear vic, combe is usally a good day for every one. But theres always people who spoil it
