Is this anyone's on here? It's in Hertford and the fella's name is Lee, i know a black one was posted for sale on here a while back but not sure now. Anyway, doesn't look to make lots, although there is a reserve! Not far from me and i'd really love a black one, too many damn cars already though! sad.gif

Here's the Linky anyway

I was going to buy it and ship it to Australia, where they're worth something. Unfortunately, the local authorities have a new rule banning personal imports made after 1 Jan. 1989. I would have had it landed in Australia for $3800, inc. taxes.

It's still a bargain for someone.

Is there a problem with towing 405 4bies? I know some 4x4 systems get knackered if you tow them, so was wondering if this was the case?

(goes off to find tow rope) biggrin.gif

absolutely. You have to disconnect the tailshaft if you're going to lift and tow by the front.

And on all four wheels the handbook recommends no more than 30mph, and no more than 30miles if possible.

240bhp? laugh.gif

Yeah right 240bhp! laugh.gif

To be fair it does say 'apparently' and 'according to the previous owner' so not the sellers own sales pitch!
