Hi all,

I'm recognising a lot of the usernames from various other Peugeot forums, so hopefully some of you will remember me! I am a moderator on the 309 forums, and I currently have a 309 Goodwood and have recently bought a 405 TD Executive to run on veggie oil for the daily commute to work.

I have previously owned a black 89 Mi16 2wd and also a white '90 Mi16x4 (which now resides with Baz), so have plenty of Mi experience under my belt.

So basically, hello everybody, and apologies if this is posted twice as it didn't appear within 5 mins unlike other forums I use...

Can't say I blame you, that car took some stick from both myself and the previous owner who managed to blow it up (and fix it) before I bought it.

I'm toying with the idea of sticking the 18's on the TD to increase the rolling diameter and reduce fuel consumption. It came with some 14" 306 DTurbo wheels, so I stuck on the Goodwood wheels from the Goodwood I rolled as I had them lying around!

Been pretty busy on the 405 since I got it 10 days ago, put new stereo, sub, amp, wiring, speakers, heater motor, heater control panel, drivers side front wing as it had a cheap one on which had started to go rusty and fixed the spring on the stereo lift up cover thingymajiggy! Need a T16 style spoiler and some Mi arches (please Baz!) and sideskirts and lower it a touch and I shall be happy rolling like that for a while. Could also do with both mirrors replacing and the bumper washer covers as they're both missing, oh, and a new sill as the o/s rear has a massive hole in it!

Gerty is up in car heaven hun..i sold her last January and the kid who bought her put up with her for a year before he had enough and broke her to bits

i co own a p1 white mi16 track car now though,and some of gerty lives on in that bless lol
