My gti6 manifold conversion , which is not working properly ...anyone who has done the conversion please look at the photos and compare them so i can see why the car is running rough and failed its mot on emmissions ..

i have done this conversion and there is no problem as far as i can see, must be caused by another area

Pony, did you have to get it re-mapped after changing the Inlet Mani to the GTI6 one ?

idealy it needs remapping but to be honest it drives great, no mid range flat spots, no pinking or detination, havent noticed a change in fuel economy.

Mine is all sorted now , new mot and is running well ...A very slight flat spot at 3000 rpm , but after that ...

what was the issue?

the emissions was because of a blowing exhaust in two places ..
the running problem seems to be caused by 2 breather pipes that was left off and possibly sticking hydrualic tapppets ..
