Hi,

Has anyone made/sells camber plates for stock suspension. Front end needs some negative camber as it's not set ideally for fast road use.

Thanks

and where in the standard Peugeot McPherson strut would such a plate be used?

the only way you can increase the camber is by moving the wishbone balljoint outwards (longer wishbone) or the top of the strut inwards (smaller diameter coil and an eccentric mounting)

or a custom machined hub carrier.
mandic
Well yes, that's what I had in mind, some type of eccentric mounting.

just came across this old pic of Matt's old trackday 405 T16:

That's a great pic cybernck.

Do you know if the LCA were adjustable or only extended?

Any more pics of it &/or the car?

Thanks
mandic
Found them on my HD as well, here u go...

Cheers

Wow! That's sensational. Was this an Ecosse project & if so were there ever any articles written about it?

It's hard to say from the pics if the lca is adjustable, maybe the stub is wound right in with no thread showing. What type of welding is needed to do that safely & maintain strength?

cybernck
it was an ex-French-police 405 T16, Ecosse put a Trackstar kit on it and it got featured
in one of the mags (with the title "Pigs can fly" laugh.gif). then they sold the kit to PWRPUG
in Australia (i guess you should remember that one Jeff smile.gif) and Matt (from Ecosse) then
track-prepared it (as you can see in these pics). the last i heard about it is that it got
broken for it's engine sad.gif.

Andreas' car changed hands & finished up in pieces after an accident (I think) with parts sold off. I think PeterT finished up with the throttle bodies, & someone else got the Morettes. I would have loved to have picked up the wheels.

Great story about the T16. Any idea what they got the weight down to?

cybernck
yeah i know he sold it off (without bodykit iirc?) and then got a kitted 306 XSi or something like that.

i should really get back in touch with him, haven't heard from him in AGES!

for those who don't know, Andreas (aka PWRPUG) had one of the most recognisable 405 Mi16's in the community.

he had a tuned engine with throttle bodies, coilovers, 4-pot brakes etc and later put a bodykit on it (used to be silver):

cool.gif as i mentioned earlier, this is a bodykit off Matt's old T16.

i'll try to find out the weight information of the said T16.
