That's what's left of it attached to the wire!
I've got a horrible feeling this might be a deleted part at a main dealer - does anyone have an experience of sourcing this part?

Many thanks - ordered from my local dealer, delivery Friday afternoon.
It was due an oil service anyway .....

All sorted, one lifter was a little 'lazy' after priming then starting, but a little heat buildup and it stopped tapping and started purring again.
Getting to that point in the season again, getting a few jobs lined up before the old girl starts work again ..
Discs, pads, rear bearings, tyres, clutch ..... hhhmm, best stop thinking about it LOL!
