I decided to continue my project here after asking some question in another previous thread about piston size of a D6C 1905 cc block.

Am down to go for Wossner high comp forged pistons, I have some questions for those who already did that.

1- What thickness of head gasket should I use, assuming the standard one is 1.4mm?

2- What is the size / diameter of the oem stem of inlet and exhaust valve ? What are the upgrades for these ?

Use the standard head gasket. The new piston is designed around the standard thickness.

The standard valves are 34.7mm and 29.5mm. You can have an inlet valve up to 36.5mm. If upgrading exhaust, 30.0mm is enough to allow new seats to be cut.

Hi!

Are you getting the racing T-shaped profile forged pistons? Are you having them custom-made for you?

To all: Has anyone purchased/ordered T-shaped profile forged aluminium pistons and H-beam forged conrods for their XU9J4 (D6C) engine? Has anyone put in titanium valves?

Many thanks!
