I'm part way through fixing a few problems on my phase 2 Mi16 and have always wondered what the blanking plate adjacent to the sunroof switch was intended for? It must be used on other models and is bugging the hell out of me.

Has anyone replaced the seal on their sunroof? Mine has been leaking and managed to buy a seal from ebay, which will be Sunday morning's job.
