Hi, the outside temp gauge on my Ph2 405 isn't working (just one of the many problems i bought it with) it just flashes a line of dashes like this: ------- Anyone know what might be causing this, also where does the sensor live for the gauge?

IIRC te sensor lives in the near side wing mirror, with the connections coming into the door. Worth checking the connections first!

Or the mirror's been changed for a std one, quite often the case due to cost
