HI all, I was wondering if one of you helpful chaps (and chapesses!) could measure the distance between the mounting bolt holes on the top mounts on one of your Mi16s? I would but I'm in London and my car is Cornwall!

Alternatively can you tell me if 205 top mounts are identical to 405s? I'm looking to purchase some eccentric top mounts but need to be sure they will fit.

No the 205 and the 306 top mounts will not fit.

I can measure the stuff if still relevant.
I will also be keen on a pair of eccentric top mounts myself.

My car is at the panel shop atm, but I've measured the bolt centre distance on the top strut pan. Its 143mm centre to centre.

Also looking for eccentric top mounts, so let us know how you get on.

Are you sure that its 143mm and NO WAY it is 142mm?
Because otherwise I've seen some adjustable mounts by Compbrake which are 142mm!

I've re-measured the distance with a standard strut bolted in place to the tower and the distance is 141mm. So the top pan I measured from earlier must have a slight bow in it increasing the distance between the bolt centres.

I've measured mine and they came to be around 142,5mm and a few of my friends have also received about the same.

This effectively means that Compbrake makes adjustable mounts suitable for a 405.

They are out of stock for 3 weeks and then i will order some mounts.

Yes, they are listed. Just search for 142mm top mounts.

I am having a set of CNC machined top mounts made in the next couple of weeks.
They will have a bit different design to compbrake ones.
