hello!

first i want to say that tis forum is the best i found for the peugeot 405 mi16

i'm sorry my english is very bad so please don't beat me wink.gif

so now my problem:

i drive an 405 mi16 from 1988 and only cold or hot air comes out from the ventilation!

the 405 has a primitive clima-control but has no ac!

i found out that it has a servo wich controls the hot/cold flap! i removed it and opend it.

inside were broken gears i fix it and the servo works! but it don't works properly!

when i set the ventilation control on 19°C the servo rotate but don't stop (the reason for the broken gears?) i mean the gear stop but the motor don't stop
it is the same when i set the ventilation control on 27°C the servo rotate and rotate and don't stop

it only stop in the area from 21°C-25°C (and work properly) it automatically adjusts itself to the selected temperature but only in this area from 21°C-25°C!

in the servo inside there is a potiometer (i check it works properly)

now i have no idee how i can solve this problem

so please help me!!!! sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif thx
