ON pistonheads. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1043094.htm Cant see the pics because of my stupid M ozilla Firefox blocking them out .. was a cracking car until the Bin wagon hit it ... 100000 miles ( was at that for yrs because of snapped speedo cable ) , also had a problem with the rear suspension losing pressure and bottoming out at will ... didnt happen too often but was always a worry ..the seller is certainly hopeful at a grand , but good ook to him ..cat c , no mot , tax , vic test , etc etc ..if it was cheaper i would like her back but not at that price ..

can't understand why they haven't at least changed the bonnet and VIC checked it. can't see them gettin that price without

The guy who bought it off me had plans to convert his AX to 4wd using the running gear and had no plans to use the 4bie on the road ...( he bought it for iirc £400 ish) ..then 12months later i saw it on ebay , it then sold for £850 , in slightly worse condition ( a few more scrapes on it ) possibly to the guy who is now selling it ... So 3 yrs since it was written off ( i was paid £900 ish and bought it back off the ins company for a tenner iirc..not looked back at my original post but it was something like that ) it has not been vic tested , so it must have just been stood around waiting for attention ...shes still clinging on

i finally had to give up on mine as it was beyond repair due to the amount of welding needed to the chassis.
i've recently acquired will9999's old car, not great but if i sort the bad bits now it should last a few more years.
you aren't tempted to buy your old 1 back then

i was just flicking through the forum,and came across this item
about your old 405 mi16x4, would the registration be K857 YFR by any chance,
if so iam the newest owner of that car, as when i got it,the bonnet had been damaged and repaired badly,also a small
repair on the top of the wing, it has had a vic check and is now taxed and tested on roads, so it has survived,
speedo is still bust,so god knows how many miles it has on now,but still runs as sweet as a nut.
i have changed the bonnet got shot of the damaged one,which was full of body filler,
has a leak on transfere box at rear seal,but iam looking into that today,
