ok guys i have a seires 1 mi16 and the gauge(dash) reads full all the time, the fuel light works still

I have pulled the sender unit out and cleaned up the contacts, it moves freely, have managed to get it
to read 3\4 tank when light comes on.( this is when the sender in the tank is on empty,

is there any other thoughts on this.

Is it earthed out or something behind the dash? May need someone with electrical knowledge to help you test the wiring.

no ive tested all that as well.
