heys just want to know if cams for a gti6 (xu10j4) will work in the xu9j4 head??

the ones i want are for a gti6 and cant find cams for the xu9j4 sieries 1 mi16.

Every cam manufacturer over here does several patterns to suit, you have your own Peter Taylor who does very good profiles for them, he understands these engines and how to get the most out of them.

The GTi6 (XU10J4RS) cylinder head is completely different to the earlier XU9J4/Z heads & the cams aren't interchangeable.

Have a look at Peter Taylor's site-taylor-eng.com where you'll find a range of camshafts to suit the 1.9 litre Mi16s. He's in Sydney.
