hi all, i've just come across some chips on the 'bay,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Performance-Chip-Tun...=item4150a3f89asays it will offer 10bhp extra and extend the rev limit by 500 rpm, has anyone had any experience with these type of chips?

I chipped mine but I couldn't really say how much it has helped. Made other mods at the same time.
Can you afford to lose the 50 quid if it's no good?

I'm sure the seller means well but they'll do very little, if anything at all. Ask the likes of Petert or Miles etc, they'll say the same thing. If you had a standard Mi16 on a dyno and had a bespoke map made you still might only gain a couple of bhp but that is obviously just a standard map with probably greater enrichment at the top end. Also it's for the bx/Mi16 "3 row" ecu that ends in 354 and according to Petert the 354 and 355 have a good map as standard, so there's less room for improvement compared to the earlier 2 row ecus.

Mine is a 2-row. Also it's a PeterT chip so was something like 40AUD rather than 49 quid
