Hi, my front seats in the 306 are a bit worse for wear, always liked the shape of the 405mi16 seats, seem to made for my shape, so I was wondering if I can fit the seats from a 405 into a 306.

Obviously the rears will take a lot of work, but are the fronts relatively simple?

I would have said they should fit ok. I've never tried but looking at our 306 DTurbo and my 405 Mi, the seat bases/subframes look very similar. As long as the 306 is a 5 door I would think you should be ok (as if your 306 is a 3dr you won't be able to tilt the front seats to get in the back)

As for the rears, you could get the 306 rears retrimmed to match the 405 fronts

Yeah, that's not a problem, car is a 3dr though.
No chance at all of working something out so I can still use the tilt?

If you could use the subframe from the 306 it will still have the tipping facility, so you could fabricate a bracket of some kind to fix to the subframe tipping mechanism.

I shall update this thread if I ever manage it. smile.gif
