As above really, was just wondering what 4wd system the BX GTi 4x4 had. Is it the same as a 4x4 Mi or is it the same as the GLx4 as discussed in another thread on here?
KRISKARRERA
No idea though it wouldn't surprise me if it was same system as on the GLx4.

Thats what I thought, as the BX 4x4 is only an 8v same as the GLx4. They never made a BX 16v 4x4 did they? Just thinking about another car that could be a bit of fun to add to the collection (dont tell the missus wink.gif)
KRISKARRERA
LOL no there wasn't a BX16v x 4.

There was a 4x4 phase 2 405 with the XU10J2, though I've never seen one. (unless of course they didn't badge it as a 4x4 on the back).

Would that be the GRx4?

I saw an L-reg one last year.
KRISKARRERA
Yeah must be. Probably reasonable for towing, peak torque at only 2750rpm.

I cant remember off top of my head but the bx system is somewhere inbetween the glx4 and mi16. Glx4 is most basic, then bx x4, then bx gtix4, then mi16x4. I'll be able to tell u exact differences when i find the article....!
