Some good info on there. Never realised 50 out of the 400 T16s were made for the French coppers!

Anyone know where the official Peugeot museum that houses one of the rally T16s is?

In Sochaux, france but there not always on display.

Actually there was total of 1046 T16 manufactured(including test models etc) and French police got 10 of them in '95...

'92 : 42 cars
'93 : 598 cars
'94 : 326 cars
'95 : 80 cars (of which the police got 10)

Those numbers of 400-500 are little wrong and I also belive it was true untill I found out the exact number and was little dissapointed as 400 or 500 sounds better

These from '92 are very rare and I haven't seen one for sale for a long time...
Also those from '95 are also rare to find for sale nowdays...
Most common are those from '93,'94....as the numbers show...

Yeah I'm looking to weld my engine to it's body in a way that will destroy the engine if they try to remove it!

I'm happy to say I've broken up a 205 GTi gearbox to salvage some closer ratios for my Mi16x4!
