My 405 mi16x4 has died!
The car is grey and was at pugfest if any of u remember?
Anyway the bottom end went a month or 2 ago and i dont kno wot to do with the car.
I was going to store it but dont really have anywhere for it. I dont want to spend the money it would cost to repair it! I dont really want to srap it! The transfer box has only done 30k!! I thought about putting my td engine in but, as it turns out, it wont work cos there is no room for the turbo.
It would be interesting to put the 4x4 system on my 205 but cher ching would cost loads for someone to do it!
The car has tonnes of history and reciepts for everything. Lots has been spent over the years.
Its not worth much as it is. I duno wot to do!!

put another mi16 in (or sort out the bottom end) instead of putting TD in perhaps?

i got an mi16 from ipswich and that had the bototm end gone aswell. maybe it's a trend around there

just swap the engine. you can get a whole mi16 for under £400 anyway if you look around, and spend a weekend sorting it out.

i know someone near my work selling a mint burgundy coloured K reg one for £550 with full mot but no tax. has had a shedload done to it, head rebuilt and other stuff.. looked after well. it's in Manchester if you're interested
