well where was everyone?


only 6cars turned up and only 4 were 405's lol.

well i couldnt make due to packing for moving out and cars being a bit weird at mo as well dont you just love pugs

its such a shame so many didn't turn up.
my 2 children and i travelled all the way from the east coast to see so few people had bothered.it was nice to see all those that did go,especially kriss's ph1 immaculately clean engine bay.

is it that people really dont have an interest in MI16s.

They definately don't have the same following as 205 GTis

did you take any other photos?
if so could you post them.

That is a shame that so few people turned up, I would definately have been there if my clutch hadn't packed up. I hope there is another meet organised sometime in the not too distant future, it would be good to meet up with some like minded people, the 405 is such a misunderstood car!

at least you did let us know you weren't coming in advance.
it would have been nice if the rest had.
it might have been better if this one was put off till another time in the hope off more people actually turning up.

same as 205 gti meet i went to couple weeks bk, supposed to be about 30 to come but only bout half turned up.

I can't really complain about those who didn't turn up, that's normally my speciality .
The 405 doesn't exactly have a huge following, least not in the uk, but I think there's still enough of us to justify a meet - look at the line up at Pugfest '05!
Obviously some were put off by the thought of a long journey to a potentially very quiet meet on a chilly afternoon. Plus sods law a few peoples cars decided to die in typical Peugeot fashion.
Nice journey there and back, plenty of stupid speeds and taking roundabouts too fast and then getting major fuel starvation, hence you leaving me behind at times Paul lol. Can't complain though - just completed 400 miles from a tankful of Shell V Power and that's mostly foot-to-the-floor driving.

Sorry i didnt make it peeps, picked up a 4bie yesterday, and had to go straight to a 40th surprise party that ran on until the early hours of this morning!! so was pretty knackered today, and had to offload the 4bie and move some of my cars around etc, a bit peeved i couldn't make it.

Although, must admit i would've been there in either a Volvo estate or a 205 so.....

here's to the next one though!

Must get ours finished off, then me and kris can have a matching pair.

what stupid speeds!!! roundabouts too fast?? i was taking it easy round roundabouts due to tired old front shocks that make the car wollowy at the front end and didnt handle very well.

must sort suspension out, oh and that poxy annoying vibration/wobble at 60-70mph oh and the crap front brakes.

hmm 400miles, dont think mine will make that much on full tank...

was good to put a few faces to the names, was feeling the effects of the night before a bit ,hopefully if we do this again we might be able to get a few more together as mine is only needing a couple of items for mot so that should be going in the next couple of weeks maybe if we look at doing it again early next year maybe try going to the pod so at least we will have something to keep us entertained and have the option to have ago ourselves what do you all think

Well I am defo up for another meet, and hopefully my car will keep itself together for the next one! I reckon meeting up for an airfield day would be a blast, and cheaper than a track day too.

I only took a couple and that one was the only half decent one Only got a cheapy camera
