for sure flywheel on 306 S16 & GTI-6 and New Mi16 are the same.
Peugeot code 0532 F2
but i see in catalogs that code for flywheel of early mi16 is different.
although they do look same...so my guess is - yes you can fit one.

What does one of them do?

gives much faster acceleration, 0-60's etc and better throttle response.

Standard mi16 one is about 6,5 kilos.
You can loose 1 kilo, but dont go below 5 kg as its dangerous

can break more easily under heavy loads/temperatures.

No its ok this isnt a lightened standard flywheel its a proper fast road / race billet steel one, incredibly well made too.. these way 3.8kg.

How nice is that!!?

on a standard cast item yes, but on billet steel ones you can go a lot lighter, which these ones mentioned are.

That looks really nice

You'd have to put a perspex section in the top of the gearbox so you can show it off to people

Sweet not looking at one right this moment as there are still things to fix such as speedo and Heater console, but in the near future I will definately be looking at it very seriously.

I am a 405mi16 (D6C) owner from Ukraine.
DO you think that it would be possible to get one of these lightened flywheels for me?
Thanks.
