Thinking about buying a set of these. But I've searched for a pic of an Mi16 with clear side repeaters but can't find one anywhere (just to see what they're like)
Anyone help?

I've got some crystal clear ones in front of me here... But they have an orange ring that kinda spoils them! Got chrome lamps as well, totally wasn't expecting the orange bit...
Can't bring myself to put them on the car!

My H reg 405 came with some fitted. I think I might keep them on there, as they look ok:

Like the debaged grill and Laguna splitter, quite subtle mods and make it look a lil more modern in my opinion. can't say I have an opinion on the side repeaters tho, i just plain don't notice them on my lemans... guess it depends on the colour of the car, can see why the originals might look a bit minty on say a white one.

I'd say you've got more to worry about than indicators!

I spied a set on Ebay last week which were apparently from an STi (they looked OE and not aftermarket if you follow me!) But any 405 I've had has only ever had orange ones

The grille is staying, though needs tidying up, but the splitter has to go as I nearly took the bumper off when it caught on the kerb going into my drive

I got mine from Motor World, but like everything else, manufacturers of after market accessories think the 405 is to old to have a big enough market to produce parts.

Would you be interested in 'offloading' the splitter?

I'll have a look, but from memory it was a pretty bodged job and only fit for the bin as it wasn't cut to size correctly (too small) and is ripped in places

Are they quite hard to get hold of then are they, these Laguna splitters? It does look quite good on the bottom of the 405 bumper, seems to suit it well.

Not hard to get hold of, but making good money as everyone knows that all youngsters want them for their hot hatches, scrappies want at least 30 quid round this way

Laguna splitter? Heard about them in 2002 when I was thinking about putting one on the 309. One thing I have to ask though - why are they called that? Any relation to a Renault Laguna?
Also I wonder if they'd look better colour coded.
I think I prefer P1 side repeaters to the P2 ones, which seem to have huge rubber surrounds.

Yeah they're from a Renault Laguna and afaik they're still available cheaply from main dealers

Tried colour coding mine but found after time it started cracking and peeling back to the primer so took it off for now to repaint.
My car is a ph1 and has the rubbers on the side repeaters, even my tinted ones came with the rubbers and to tbh i think they blend better to the wing, but that might have something to do with the car being black

£30!?!

I had a pile of laguna splitters a while ago, i'd take every one i found off in the scrappy every time i'd go. Sold them for just a £5 a time!
