What is the hose circled green on the throttle body for? I am in the process of fitting a 2.0 mi16 into my 205.

KRISKARRERA
I don't know but on the 1.9 Mi that's a coolant hose that goes to thermostat - keeps the TB warm. Bloody useless.

P.S. can you fill in your location on your profile please.

Thats what i was thinking. There is a hose from the thermostat housing thats been blocked off thats the same diameter hose. Should be filling the coolant tomorrow and maybe even firing it up for the 1st time.

That hose goes back to the fuel tank via a valve and then a carbon canister, All to do with the emission's, If you not using it blank it off

The 2.0's etc use a Electric heated T/B, The yellow plug (From memory),

Thanks Miles, will find a suitable bolt to blank it off.
