Is there anyone who knows the full spell & meaning of Mi in Mi16?
I've wondered this about 15 years.

Thanks, mostly multipoint injection is believed...
People around me always calling my car as
'MIG 16' (russian aircraft) or 'M16' (American assult rifle) ...... lol.
It is not an easy way (both mechnical & psychic) to maintain and own Mi16 in Korea...

Just to clear this one up, i worked for peugeot for many years (during the release of the Mi16) and this is a quote from the marketing dept....
"the new 405 flagship will be the 405 Mi16 (Motronic Injection 16 valves)"
so, its motronic people, not multipoint.

Yeah I remember when Mission Impossible 2 came out it was abbreviated to MI:2 and the MI part looked just like the mi16 badge.
